Places of insects
In Yalta, Sevastopol and Sudak prey on people mosquitoescausing painful marks to a person. There are these bloodsuckers in some areas of Simferopol. In the forests of the mountainous Crimea tourists “enjoy” the painful biting hollow mosquitoes.
Warm weather, an abundance of rain in early summer, which often results in the formation of damp places, as well as a decrease in the number of natural enemies of mosquito larvae (birds), contribute to the spread of blood-sicking insects.
However, there are places where there are no mosquitoes in the Crimea. They are practically absent in Evpatoria and in the Old Crimea.
